Agriculture in Zwieselstein

Tyrolean agriculture from love to the animals

A cow standing in the snow in front of an alpine pasture
The Tyrolean grey cattle have it good on the alp.

The welfare of the animals is very important for the hosts of Gampe Thaya. The family Prantl is convinced, that the products, made on the farm, reflect the way, animals lived.

Family-run agriculture in Zwieselstein

In winter, between October and May, the cattle from Family Prantl stay on the farm in Zwieselstein. 2020 the farm was rebuilt into an open farm, so the cattle can move all day and decide on their own if they would like to stay inside or go outside. In summer, the cattle will stay on the mountain.
